What Sedation Options Do You Offer?
We offer three primary sedative options, some of which can be combined to meet your needs and situation.
- Nitrous Oxide: often referred to as “laughing gas,” nitrous oxide not only eliminates pain during a dental procedure, it can help put patients at ease
- Oral Sedation: this is a stronger form of sedation, one taken in pill form either immediately before the procedure or possibly the night before. Patients who utilize oral sedation will need to arrange transportation home from the office.
- Intravenous (IV) Sedation: the strongest sedative option, IV sedation will be administered by medical professionals on our staff, who will closely monitor your vitals during your procedure.
