Question: Is a full mouth reconstruction the same thing as a smile makeover?
Answer: Not exactly. A full mouth reconstruction focuses on healing, repairing, and restoring. Essentially, we address problems like damage, disease, and functional issues that are negatively impacting your oral health. A makeover primarily refers to the necessary care to improve how your smile appears visually (cosmetic dentistry).
Question: What types of treatments are included in a full mouth reconstruction? Do you mostly address problems like tooth decay and damaged teeth?
Answer: Of course, we do address a need for fillings and dental crowns. However, this is a “full” treatment because we address anything that may need fixing. This might include fillings, crowns, orthodontics, removing problematic teeth, replacing missing teeth with prosthetics, and more.
Question: How do you approach my smile? Is there a standard full mouth reconstruction treatment that you provide all of your patients?
Answer: There is no universal approach to providing this type of care. Instead, we work closely with you to create a reconstruction plan that is tailored to your unique needs, including oral health requirements, budget, and preferences.
