Tips For Brushing At Work

Are you someone who takes your dental care pretty seriously? So seriously, in fact, that you would like to perform a dental hygiene session after you eat a meal or a snack? However, your efforts in brushing and flossing at work have backfired in some way or another? If this sounds familiar, you might just be in need of some simple suggestions you have not considered before. Think through a couple tips that may be of assistance (and give yourself a pat on the back for your extra thoughtful care!).

Tip: Be Prepared

Whether you keep a bag with you at work, you have a locker, you have a desk drawer, or otherwise, you probably have some place to store your essentials. As a result, if you have time to brush your teeth and floss after a meal, you are ready. Keep a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss stored where you can easily access them, so a quick dental hygiene session is a breeze. (Note: Travel size items are easier to carry around inconspicuously).

Tip: Don’t Brush During Breaks

Are you somewhat hesitant to brush your teeth in front of all of your coworkers? However, every time you’ve attempted a dental hygiene session during your lunch break, it seems every single person you know is in the bathroom watching you take care of your teeth and gums? Do yourself a favor and slip into the bathroom during working hours (not during shared breaks) if you can when the restroom is empty! Chances are good you can brush and floss without an audience.
